The Sri Venkateswara University has obtained permission from Bar Council of India on Friday for conducting classes for five-year LLB course. The SVU officials received a letter from BCI for conducting LLB course. As per the orders, SVU can admit 60 students into LLB course in this academic year 2017-18.

Tirupati: The Sri Venkateswara University has obtained permission from Bar Council of India on Friday for conducting classes for five-year LLB course. The SVU officials received a letter from BCI for conducting LLB course. As per the orders, SVU can admit 60 students into LLB course in this academic year 2017-18.

On the occasion, SFI district secretary Madav Krishna thanked the SVU VC, Registrar and Rector andArts College Principal for making consistent efforts to get BCI nod in this regard. It may be recalled that the law students were fightingseeking BCI approval for LLB course for one year.
