The local chapter of Computer Society of India in association with RINL-Visakhapatnam Steel Plant,  is organising a national conference, IMPACT-2018 on  IoT (Internet of Things),  machine learning, predictive analytics, artificial intelligence and other  computing trends on January 5 and 6 in the city.

Visakhapatnam: The local chapter of Computer Society of India in association with RINL-Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, is organising a national conference, IMPACT-2018 on IoT (Internet of Things), machine learning, predictive analytics, artificial intelligence and other computing trends on January 5 and 6 in the city.

Prabir Raychaudhury, Director (Commercial), RINL and Chairman, CSI, Visakhapatnam Chapter, released the conference brochure in the presence of R Nagarajan, ED (services), RINL and Vice-Chairman of CSI. Chaudhary also launched the conference website http://impact2018.csivizag.org.

Speaking on the occasion, Raychaudhury said as the disruptive technologies are all set to transform business, global economy and lives, CSI is organising this conference to bring together researchers, engineers, developers and practitioners from academia, industry, government organisations, NGOs and MNCs to disseminate their knowledge, share their experiences and exchange ideas about the latest development and trends of the disruptive eco-system to find out how these disruptive technologies are changing society in general and industries in particular.

The two-day conference will have six sessions packed with lectures from eminent speakers of national and international repute, manufacturers’ presentations and paper presentations. KV Ramana Rao, Executive Director, KVSS Rajeswar Rao, general manager, and members of various committees were present on the occasion.
