In a tragic road accident, six persons were killed in East Godavari district in the wee hours of Saturday.
In a tragic road accident, six persons were killed in East Godavari district in the wee hours of Saturday.
The mishap took place near Golakotivaripalem in Kothapeta mandal when a lorry crashed into an auto-rickshaw killing six members on the spot.
All the deceased were women and belong to Allavaram mandal. The women were heading to offer prayers at Lord Venkateswara Swamy in Vadapalli.
Seven others sustained severe injuries and were admitted to KIMS at Amalapuram. Two of the injured person health condition is said to be critical.
