Review on solid waste, vector management held
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal along with JEO KS Sreenivasa Raju held a detailed review meeting on solid waste management and vector management.
Tirumala: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal along with JEO KS Sreenivasa Raju held a detailed review meeting on solid waste management and vector management. The meeting with engineering, health, annaprasadam and garden wings took place at AnnamaiahBhavan in Tirumala on Friday.
The EO directed the Chief Engineer Chandra Sekhar Reddy and SE II Ramachandra Reddy to come out with proposals of short, medium and long-term plans on solid waste management.
Later he also instructed the health officer Dr Sermista to chalk out plans for vector (disease spreading organisms like flies, mosquitoes, cockroaches) management. Earlier, the health officer demonstrated the precautionary measures to control flies and other disease spreading insects through power point presentation.
