Hyderabad: The YSR Congress Party chief Jaganmohan Reddy has written a letter to the President of India Ramnath Kovind, with the request to take action against the 21 MLAs who have illegally defected into TDP without resigning from their respective posts.

At a media conference held here on Friday, MLA G Srikanth Reddy gave details about the letter. `In his five-page letter to the President of India, Jaganmohan Reddy stated that the Legislature party meeting has unanimously adopted a resolution seeking action against all the defectors and dropping four turncoats who were included into the cabinet.

He also said that, until and unless action is taken against these illegal defectors the MLAs of YSRCP would continue to boycott the forthcoming Assembly session’ the MLA said.

YSR Congress party stands to protect the ideals and essence of Indian Constitution and these unconstitutional policies of TDP to fill vote banks would be opposed by the YSRCP members, Srikanth Reddy added.
