Guntur: The state government is introducing several schemes and projects to develop the government-run schools, said director of municipal administration K Kannababu.

Special classes will be conducted for Class X students from November 1 to gain more marks in the annual examinations, he disclosed.

He was interacting with the students and teachers at SKBM High School here on Saturday. He inspected the digital classroom and enquired the students about the purpose and use of it.

The municipal schools in the state are par with the private schools, he pointed out.

He instructed the teachers in the state to concentrate for all-round development of the students. Commissioner of Guntur Municipal Corporation C Anuradha and additional commissioner K Ramachandra Reddy and other officers participated in the meeting.
