Gaiety marks Guru Nanak Jayanti

Visakhapatnam: Sikhs celebrated 548th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak here on Sunday. Gurudwara Sadh Sangat at Seethammadhara took out a holy procession (Nagar Keerthan) in the city. Guru Granth Sahib (the revered scripture of Sikhs) carried by a beautifully decorated vehicle, along with religious flags, was started from Gurudwara and went via RTC Complex , LIC Building, Dabagardens, Jagadamba Junction, Green Park Road, Beach Road Siripuram and Satyam Junction. Display of martial arts form (GATKA) by Sikh youths with colourful dresses was the special attraction in the procession. A large number of women, children and youth took part in the procession.
