The Zilla Parishad general body meeting is proposed to be held on October 31. In the last meeting, YSRCP MLAs stalled the proceedings by launching criticism against former collector Satyanarayana for his partial attitude towards TDP leaders.

It may be recalled that there was heated exchange taken place between Rayachoti MLA Srikanth Reddy and Collector Satyanarayana over implementation of ongoing Neeru-Chettu programme and unilateral decisions in allocating lands to industries in the district.
