Vijayawada: Krishnan Lanka police on Sunday arrested a Mutha worker and recovered Rs 1.50 lakh which was stolen from a shop at the Rajiv Gandhi wholesale vegetable market on October 26.
According to police, the accused Bhavani Sankar, who resides near Ravi Chettu Junction in Bhavanipuram area, robbed Rs 1.50 lakh from a wholesale vegetable shop at Rajiv Gandhi Vegetable Market on October 26.
The shop owner lodged a complaint with Krishna Lanka police about the theft. The police during the investigation, they noticed that Mutha worker Bhavani Sankar stole the cash. They recovered the cash and handed it over to the shop owner.
