Four-year-old boy abducted for Rs 5 lakh ransom in West Godavari district

A four-year-old boy was kidnapped from his school on Monday in West Godavari district. The kidnappers threatened to kill the boy if they are not paid a ransom of Rs 5 lakh.
A four-year-old boy was abducted from his school on Monday in West Godavari district. The kidnappers threatened to kill the boy if they are not paid a ransom of Rs 5 lakh.
The incident took place at Bheemavaram and the boy, Sham was taken away by the unidentified persons on the pretext saying that his mother is sick and the boy needs to be taken home.
Later in the evening, the parents received a call from the kidnappers demanding Rs 5 lakh in exchange for the boy.
The parents lashed out at the school authorities questioning them for letting their son be taken away to unknown people.
Police have taken up the investigation. Further details are awaited.
