Isolated rain occurred across Andhra Pradesh during the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Monday, with Satyavedu in Chittoor district recording five cm of rainfall. There was four cm of rain each in Gudur, Sullurpet and Venkatagiri (all in Nellore district).

Hyderabad: Isolated rain occurred across Andhra Pradesh during the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Monday, with Satyavedu in Chittoor district recording five cm of rainfall. There was four cm of rain each in Gudur, Sullurpet and Venkatagiri (all in Nellore district).

The chief amounts of rainfall (in cm) in the State were: Tada (Nellore) 3, Srikalahasti, Thottambedu (both in Chittoor) 2 each, Vinjamur, Rapur, Kodur, Palasamudram, Puttur and Tirupati Airport one cm each, according to the Met department bulletin.

It said there was an appreciable fall in the night temperatures at one or two places in coastal districts and no large change over Rayalaseema. They were below normal at one or two places over coastal Andhra and above normal at one or two places across Rayalaseema. The lowest minimum temperature of 20 degrees Celsius was recorded in Arogyavaram and Anantapur.

According to the forecast, there will be light to moderate rain/thundershowers at isolated/few places across Andhra Pradesh from October 31 to November 3.No No large change during the subsequent three days is the weather outlook.
