Lakshmi Parvathi criticises Chandrababu over rise in atrocities against women

YSR Congress Party women leaders staged a protest over the rising atrocities taking place against women in the state.

Leading the programme, YSRCP general secretary Lakshmi Parvathi along with other senior leaders participated in the Dharna at the Gandhi statue in Visakhapatnam.

Speaking to the media, she lashed out at Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu stating that the atrocities on women are increasing in his rule.

Mentioning the recent incident in Vizag, where a man publicly raped a woman, Lakshmi Parvati questioned the public as to why they are maintaining silence even when a woman is being raped openly.

She further criticised Chandrababu saying that he is only interested in money and power.
