Metlotsavam observed with fervour
Braving the showers, more than 3,000 Dasaparas hailing from Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka trekked the Alipiri footpath route chanting Govinda Keerthanas during wee hours on Monday and observed Metlotsavam in a grand manner.

The Traimasika Metlotsavam held with religious fervour at Alipiri Padala Mandapam on Monday. Udipi Kanyur Mutt Pontiff Sri Vidyavallabha Theertha Swamy, who took part in this celestial fete said, this fete has been observed in connection with the Tirunakshatrotsavam of Sri Vyasaraya Yateeswara.
“Great acharya purushas trekked this footpath route and attained salvation. The Dasa Sahitya Project of TTD is continuing the same tradition which is laudable,” he maintained. Special Officer of Dasa Sahitya Project Anandateerthacharya was also present.
