Visakhapatnam: Finding of a voice recorder in the car of NarsipatnamMunicipal Vice-chairman Ch Sanyasi Patrudu and younger brother of Roads and Buildings Minister Ch AyyannaPatrudu created tension among the family members of the minister and his brother. The gadget was discovered two days ago while Sanyasi Patrudu was washing his car.

Sources in the family said they were tense because the outlawed Maoists warned the Minister’s son with dire consequences following which the security cover has been increased to the minister. His family members were told not to visit the Agency area without prior intimation to the police.

It may be recalled that Maoists had killed the minister’s brother Ch Srinivas Patrudu in late 90s and an attempt was also made on the minister at his Visakhapatnam city residence in 2001. The family members are also suspecting that there could be a receiver through which somebody could be hearing the conversation.
