Students die in road mishap
Two B Tech final year students died and another injured in a road accident near Nidamanuru on the outskirts of Vijayawada on Wednesday. The deceased were identified as G Yadagiri and K Vamsi, aged 20, and the students of Loyola College of Engineering and Technology.Â

Another student Ch Kiran is undergoing treatment at a private hospital with injuries. According to Patamata police, three students went to Usha Rama Engineering College at Telaprolu in Gannavaram mandal to attend the semester exams.
While they were returning to Vijayawada their vehicle dashed against another vehicle moving in the same direction. Hence, they fell on the national highway near Nidamanuru. A speeding truck coming behind their vehicle knocked them down killing one of them on the spot. Another student died later. Patamata police registered a case and took up investigation.
