Civic chief makes surprise visit to pension centres

Rajampet (Kadapa): Municipal Commissioner N V Ramana Reddy on Wednesday paid a surprise visit to pension distribution centres including those in Sathupalle, Ram Nagar, Edigapalem, Mannuru and Rajampet Municipal Office.
He directed the staff concerned to ensure that 100 per cent pensions are distributed. He asked the beneficiaries to collect their pensions between 1st and 5th of every month at their respective centres. Revenue Inspectors B Harinath and R Penchalaiah and other staff members were present.
