Besides this, they also announced a deputy collector's job in the state government to the ace shuttler. Kidambi Srikanth became the first Indian to win four Superseries titles in a calendar year with his win at French Open earlier this week.

The two coaches of Srikanth, including Pullela Gopichand have been awarded a cash reward of Rs 30 lakh.

The 24-year-old Srikanth, who originally hails from Guntur district in the state will be the second shuttler to receive a state government job after Olympics badminton silver medallist PV Sindhu.

In August this year, Sindhu had assumed charge at the office of Chief Commissioner of Land Administration (CCLA).
