Kidambi Srikanth offered deputy collector's job in AP
Shuttler Kidambi Srikanth, who recently won the French Open super series has been rewarded by the Andhra Pradesh state cabinet with an amount of Rs 2 crore and about 1,000 square yards of land in Amaravati.

Besides this, they also announced a deputy collector's job in the state government to the ace shuttler. Kidambi Srikanth became the first Indian to win four Superseries titles in a calendar year with his win at French Open earlier this week.
The two coaches of Srikanth, including Pullela Gopichand have been awarded a cash reward of Rs 30 lakh.
The 24-year-old Srikanth, who originally hails from Guntur district in the state will be the second shuttler to receive a state government job after Olympics badminton silver medallist PV Sindhu.
In August this year, Sindhu had assumed charge at the office of Chief Commissioner of Land Administration (CCLA).
