Kadapa: Andhra Pragathi Grameena Bank (APGB) Head Office in association with Regional Office concluded Vigilance Awareness Week celebrations on a grand note on Friday. District Superintendent of Police (SP) Attadi Babujee was the chief guest.

He spoke about the ill-effects of corruption in the society and role of the public and bank employees in eradicating corruption. Chief Manager B Vivekananda welcomed dignitaries on to the dais. Bank Chairman A Venkata Reddy spoke on the ways and means of eradicating corruption.

General Manager M Ananda spoke about preventive vigilance steps taken by the Bank to avert frauds and malpractices in the bank. General Manager JVS Prasad informed services rendered to farmers, women and other weaker sections. Prizes were distributed to the winners of essay writing and elocution competitions.
