Junior doctors staged protest demonstration in front of the Collectorate here on Friday, demanding the government to scrap training programme for RMPs and PMPs.
Kurnool: Junior doctors staged protest demonstration in front of the Collectorate here on Friday, demanding the government to scrap training programme for RMPs and PMPs. Earlier, they took out a rally from Kurnool Medical College to the Collectorate. They raised slogans against the government’s decision of legalising RMPs and PMPs.
They questioned on why the government is keen on training those who didn’t have even formal education. They said it is not good on the part of the government to render inferior medical services to people. If the government was committed for the welfare of people, it should recruit qualified physicians and appoint them in the hospitals in rural areas. They threatened to intensify agitation if their demand isn’t met.
