Rajamahendravaram: Former MP Vundavalli Arun Kumar has opined that boycotting of ensuing Assembly session to take up padayatra is a wrong step on the part of YSR Congress Party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy. Assembly is a right forum to discuss the problems of the people and to question the government on various issues.

Speaking to reporters at Anam Rotary Hall here on Friday, Vundavalli advised Jaganmohan Reddy to rethink in this regard. If he (Jagan) thinks that padayatra is inevitable, then he can send his MLAs to the Assembly, Arun Kumar said.

At present many problems were unsolved and it is an opportunity to table the issues for the benefit of the people. At the same time, it is an opportunity to move `no confidence motion' against Assembly speaker Dr Kodela Siva Prasad, the former MP said.

He points out that YSRCP can boycott Assembly sessions after 14 days, if the government rejects the no confidence motion. Later, dealing with Polavaram project, he has said there is no hope of completion of the project in near future.
