Andhra Pradesh Director General of Police (DGP) N Sambasiva Rao on Saturday has granted permission to YSR Congress Party President and leader of Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for his Padayatra which is scheduled to launch at Idupulapaya in Kadapa district tomorrow.

Andhra Pradesh Director General of Police (DGP) N Sambasiva Rao on Saturday has granted permission to YSR Congress Party President and leader of Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for his Padayatra which is scheduled to launch at Idupulapaya in Kadapa district tomorrow.

YSRCP leaders Ummareddi Venkateswarlu, Botsa Satyanarayana and KP Saradhi met the DGP and submitted a letter in this regard following which the Padayatra received approval.

The DGP said that they would follow the protocol and provide security to YS Jagan while the SPs of all the districts in AP have been instructed to tighten security for the Padayatra.

He asked the YSRCP leaders to submit details regarding a route map to the police to ensure smooth security and traffic arrangements.

YS Jagan’s Padayatra aims to cover 13 districts and a distance of 3,000 km, in a duration of six months.
