Tirupati: The police arrested the DYFI leaders when they tried to take out a rally at Lakshmipuram Circle here on Saturday, demanding jobs for the unemployed.
The DYFI leaders came on to road holding placards few hours before the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s visit. On receiving information, the police arrested them. They raised slogans against the Chief Minister for not fulfilling the election promise of providing jobs to the unemployed. The police shifted arrested leaders to East police station.
