Elaborate arrangements for science congress
Andhra University is making elaborate arrangements for a three-day Andhra Pradesh Science Congress (APSC-2017) which is slated from November 7 to 9 in the city. The theme of the Science Congress is ‘Green technologies for transformation and sustainable development’.

Revealing about the event at a media conference here on Saturday, Vice-Chancellor of Andhra University G Nageswara Rao said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will inaugurate the science congress at AU Convocation Hall at 9.30 am on November 7.
The Secretary, Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi, Asutosh Sharma, will deliver the keynote address. BL Deekshatulu, President of Andhra Pradesh Akademi of Sciences, will address the inaugural session, the Vice-Chancellor added.
Padma Bhushan awardee Dr AV Rama Rao endowment lecture will be delivered by Asutosh Sharma.
As many as 60 distinguished scientists from across the country will be delivering either distinguished, popular, endowment or invited lectures during these three days, Nageswara Rao said.
