Govt giving top priority for VZM dist
Minister for Human Resource Development and In-Charge for Vizianagaram district Ganta Srinivasa Rao directed the district administration to implement the welfare schemes properly.

He reviewed the status in the district with the officials at the Collectorate here on Saturday and assured that the government is according top priority for the development of the district. Housing, NTR Bharosa, pensions and others should reach the real beneficiaries, he said. Later, Ganta, along with Minister for Mines RVSK Ranga Rao, participated in Kartheeka Vana Samaaradhana organised by the forest department here and the both addressed a gathering.
“Every student should plant a sapling on their birthdays and make the state green. It’s unfortunate that greenery in Vizianagaram is lesser than the state average. However, the district forest staff is striving to enhance the greenery in the past few years,” he said. Later Ganta said that some more MLAs from YSRCP are likely to join TDP in a few days, he disclosed. Collector Vivek Yadav and others participated in the programme.
