The Vigilance Awareness Week celebrations concluded here at Simhadri Super Thermal Power Plant (SSTPP) of NTPC on Saturday. Additional Superintendent of Police CBI SN Subramanyam attended the valedictory function at Deepanjalinagar (Township of SSTPP). Speaking on the occasion, the CBI ASP emphasised the importance of the vigilance awareness.

Additional Superintendent of Police CBI SN Subramanyam attended the valedictory function at Deepanjalinagar (Township of SSTPP). Speaking on the occasion, the CBI ASP emphasised the importance of the vigilance awareness.

There is a big scope to corruption when the society transforming from one stage to another. However, officials, who are at key posts, should be careful to control graft, he added.

While presiding over the meeting, Group General Manager (GGM) of SSTPP NK Sinha explained about various activities taken up during the week-long programmes.

Administering of integrated pledge, walkathon, morning walk, essay writing, elocution competitions to the school students, elocution competition for HoDs and sectional head in the plant on ‘My vision-corruption free India’ were conducted, the GGM said. Later, the chief guest gave away prizes to the winners of various competitions.
General Managers Arup Ratan, Bhola Nath, Kumud Ranjan, Saroj Chellur, HC Verma and representatives from unions and associations were present.
