He will cover as many as 48 villages in 5 Assembly constituencies such as Pulivendula, Prodduturu, Jammalamadugu, Mydukuru and Kamala Puram. The YSRCP chief is expected to cover 300 km in Kadapa district.

Except Jammalamadugu constituency, the remaining four constituencies are represented by YSR Congress. Jammalamadugu constituency is being represented by Marketing Minister C Adi Narayana Reddy.

It may be recalled that Adi Narayana Reddy who was elected under YSR ticket in 2014 elections shifted loyalty to the TDP and later became Minister.

The YSRCP proposed to conduct public meetings only at two places like Yerraguntla and Duvvuru, In the remaining 46 villages, Jagan will mingle with the people for receiving grievances. Party sources said Jaganmohan Reddy will inspect Galeru Nagari canal in Kamalapuram constituency and Chapadu canal in Mydukuru constituency.

Meanwhile, about 1500 party functionaries including MLAs, ZPTCs and MPTCs are expected to take part in the Padayatra along with the YSRCP supremo. In view of the previous bitter experiences, it is learnt that Jagan will be focusing on highlighting people’s problems and restrain himself from making derogatory remarks against the Chief Minister.

“Our leader will focus mainly on pending irrigation projects, dole for the unemployed, job to every house, loan waiver for both farmers and SHGs etc during the Padayatra,” said a party leader on the condition of anonymity.

According to programme coordinator Pallela Tulasi Raghuram, after paying tributes to his father and former Chief Minister Rajasekhara Reddy at Idupulapaya on Monday, he will address a public meeting at 9 am at the same place. Later he will proceed to Vempalle mandal.

On completion of his Praja Sankalpa Yatra in Kadapa, Jaganmohan Reddy will enter Kurnool district. Meanwhile, the Opposition Leader reached Kadapa from Hyderabad on Sunday afternoon and rushed to his native place.

Later, he performed special pujas at Gandi Veeranjaneya Swamy temple at Gandi village and took part in special prayers at the church at Pulivendula. Subsequently, he also visited Pedda Darga located in Kadapa town and offered special prayers in the evening.
