Kakinada: Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Nimmakayala Chinarajappa on Sunday made it clear that they have no objection in giving permission to YSRCP president Jaganmohan Reddy’s Padayatra.

Speaking to newsmen here at the district TDP office, he said if Jagan seeks permission for his Padayatra in any district, the government is ready to give permission.

Referring to YSRCP MLA Roja’s comments that the TDP was nervous over Jagan’s Padayatra, he said instead it was the YSRCP which was nervous as one after the other, the YSRCP MLAs were leaving the party and joining the TDP.

Speaking on Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham’s agitation, he said the TDP government was making sincere efforts to provide reservations to Kapus.

He said the State government is committed to constructing a world-class capital Amaravati and the development of the State. Chinarajappa pointed out that the TDP activists were receiving several grievances from public during the Intintiki Telugu Desam programme.

He pointed out that most of the grievances were related to housing, ration cards and pensions. He further said that soon solutions would be provided to the grievances aired by people during the Intintiki Telugu Desam programme. Kakinada city MLA Vanamadi Venkateswara Rao and TDP city president Tirumala Kumar were present.
