Actress Vani Viswanath to join TDP
Actress Vani Viswanath is all set to join the ruling TDP in Andhra Pradesh. She is going to meet the party’s national president and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday in Amaravati in Guntur district to decide her joining date.

In an interview to a Telugu TV channel in Guntur on Monday, Vani Viswanath expressed her intention to contest in the coming General elections against actress and politician Roja Selvamani, sitting MLA of YSRCP.
Chandrababu Naidu has been delivering good governance, Vani said. She further said, `if Chandrababu Naidu directs her to contest against Roja, she will contest in the General elections. “Though born as Malayali, I love Telugu people”, she observed. She said that she has decided to work in TDP as full time political leader.
Reacting on the opportunity to act in the proposed controversial movie Lakshmi’s Veera Grantham, she said, `TDP is first and rest of the things are second to her.’ She said that she did not take any decision about acting in the movie, though she got a call from the director.
