Managudi programme at 300 temples from December 1-3

Tirupati: The mass temple activity, Managudi, will be organised in about 300 temples in AP and Telengana from December 1 to 3 said, TTD JEO P Bhaskar.
Addressing the Dharma Prachara Mandali (DPM) members at SVETA building in Tirupati on Tuesday, the JEO said, on December 1 there will be temple cleansing-Alaya Suddhi, followed by Krittika Deepotsavam on December 2 and Guru Puja on December 3 which falls on the auspicious day of Datta Jayanti. On November 29, the puja material for Managudi will be distributed to the respective temples.
In view of Geeta Jayanti on November 30, there will be competitions in Gita recitation for Class 6 to 9 students while on November 30 there will be religious discourse on the importance of Bhagavat Gita in all district headquarters. HDPP (Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad) Secretary Ramakrishna Reddy, Project Officer Dr Venkata Ramana Babu and others were present.
