Two LPC staff suspended
The executive officer of Srivarahalakshmi Nrusimha Swamy Devasthanam, Simhachalam, K Ramachandra Mohan, suspended superintendent Vijay Kumar and junior assistant MSRK Prasad on Tuesday. The suspended employees are working in Land Protection Cell (LPC) of devastanam.
Visakahapatnam: The executive officer of Srivarahalakshmi Nrusimha Swamy Devasthanam, Simhachalam, K Ramachandra Mohan, suspended superintendent Vijay Kumar and junior assistant MSRK Prasad on Tuesday. The suspended employees are working in Land Protection Cell (LPC) of devastanam.
According to the government directive, the devasthanam is not permitting any construction activity in five villages, including Adavivaram, Vepagunta, Purushottampuram, Cheemalapalli and Venkatapuram. The officials and security guards of Land Protection Cell are visiting the villages and dismantling the construction works.
One of the house owners in the said lands B Suryanarayana was constructing a shed which was objected by the LPC superintendent and junior assistant and allegedly demanded a bribe to allow the construction of the shed. Based on the allegations, the EO of temple conducted a probe into the allegations. Based on the preliminary inquiry report, the EO suspended Vijay Kumar and MSRK Prasad.
