YS Jagan interacts with the cotton farmers in Vempalli

YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who is currently participating in the Praja Sankalpa Yatra inspected cotton crops in Vempalli as part of his programme.

Interacting with the farmers who raised the cotton crop, YS Jagan learned from the farmers that they lost the cotton crop due to excess rainfall and spurious pesticides.

Speaking to the media, he said that none of the officials met the farmers in this regard showing that the TDP government completely neglected the cotton farmers.

Stating that the cotton crop was raised in 6.7 lakh hectares across the state, the YSRCP Chief said that the farmers suffered losses due to excess rainfall.
