District Superintendent of Police Gopinath Jetti on Friday distributed 70 chairs to the students of KVR College in memory of Akshitha daughter of SC/ST Cell Deputy Superintendent of Police Muralidhar.  Earlier, he garlanded the portrait of Akshitha and cut cake.

Kurnool: District Superintendent of Police Gopinath Jetti on Friday distributed 70 chairs to the students of KVR College in memory of Akshitha daughter of SC/ST Cell Deputy Superintendent of Police Muralidhar. Earlier, he garlanded the portrait of Akshitha and cut cake.

Speaking on the occasion, the SP advised students to study well and wished them to reach great heights in their careers. He said the government is providing reservations to girl-students. Gopinath Jetti appreciated Muralidhar and his family members for distributing chairs to students.

Additional Superintendent of Police Shaik Sha Vali, Akshitha Bhavan Charitable Trust Chairman Rajeshwari, KVR College Vice-Principal Veera Chary, teachers Indira Shanthi, Parimala Devi, blind students and college students were present.

Cops told to do exercise daily
Kurnool: District SP Gopinath Jetti on Friday advised his department personnel to exercise daily so as to discharge active duty and to overcome stress while working. He was speaking after witnessing the training classes for 47 department personnel in yoga, nutrition and swimming being run in the District Police Office to reduce obesity.

The personnel are being counseled on diet by doctors. The SP advised the personnel to take up yoga practice, walking and other physical exercises to remain firm and achieve fitness. Later, he inspected police dogs undergoing training and the activities of their handlers. Among those who accompanied the SP were Additional SPs P Shaik Vali and I Venkatesh, DSPs Khader Basha, Venkatadri, and Vinod Kumar.
