Flash mob to create awareness on students’ suicides
With the support from GITAM, PRISM, Gayatri Vidya Parishad and Chaitanya Engineering College, Indian Youth for Society (IYFS) organised a public awareness programme with a skit and dance on students suicides at CMR Central on Saturday.
Visakhapatnam: With the support from GITAM, PRISM, Gayatri Vidya Parishad and Chaitanya Engineering College, Indian Youth for Society (IYFS) organised a public awareness programme with a skit and dance on students suicides at CMR Central on Saturday. Students shared their thoughts while addressing a gathering. The event was held to create awareness about how they can overcome depression, sensitiveness and pressure towards small problems.
P Sowjanya Yadav, B Tech student of Chaitanya Engineering College, said that students should overcome sensitiveness. She was happy in participating the event as dance was a good relief to her and time to spend with friends. Jagadish Kumar, secretary, IYFS, said that the government should conduct inspections on colleges whether they are providing time for extracurricular activities. Akula Savitri Devi, Ch Nikhitha, Uday K Patta, Yendreddi Appala Reddy and Nunela Shasank were present.
