The Trust Board of Durga temple here on Thursday finalised schedule for relinquishment of Bhavani deekshas from December 10 to 14. Nearly five lakh devotees are expected to visit the temple during the period. The board has decided to provide all facilities to devotees who come from various parts in two Telugu states for relinquishment.

Vijayawada: The Trust Board of Durga temple here on Thursday finalised schedule for relinquishment of Bhavani deekshas from December 10 to 14. Nearly five lakh devotees are expected to visit the temple during the period. The board has decided to provide all facilities to devotees who come from various parts in two Telugu states for relinquishment.

As per the Trust Board Chairman V Gouranga Babu and Executive Officer Surya Kumari, estimations were finalised with Rs 7.2 lakh to construct railing for steps way in the north direction. Similarly, temporary sheds and water proof sheds would be constructed with Rs 9.60 lakh and Rs 21 lakh budget. Funds are also allotted for illuminating the premises. The Trust Board would also install 31 new CC TV cameras with a cost of Rs 10 lakh.

Meanwhile, the board also passed a resolution to take development works at Sri Rukminisametha Sri Venugopala Swamy temple in Hamsala Deevi of Krishna district and also to take up security measures for Subramanya Swami temple on Indrakeeladri.
