Kalyanotsavam of Lord Venkateswara performed
The Kalyanotsavam of Dwaraka Tirumala Sri Venkateswara was performed in Tadepalligudem. Thousands of devotees attended to witness the celestial wedding. Andhra Pradesh Endowments Minister Pydikondala Manikyala Rao himself supervised the event. Tadepalligudem: The Kalyanotsavam of Dwaraka Tirumala Sri Venkateswara was performed in Tadepalligudem. Thousands of devotees attended to witness the celestial wedding. Andhra Pradesh Endowments Minister Pydikondala Manikyala Rao himself supervised the event. The Kalyanotsavam was jointly performed under the aegis of Dwarka Tirumala Devasthanam and Endowments department. On the occasion, Swamiji Ramachandra Ramanuja Jiyyar Swamy delivered his discourse to the devotees. He said, “We did not recognise the god in us with egoistic characters. God is everywhere and in every creature.”
Endowments Minister said that everyone should live in peace and the spiritual thinking should also be developed in everyone to live in peace. Later, the Kalyanotsavam of Sri Devi, Bhudevi Sameta Venkateswara Swamy started. The Endowments Minister presented clothes to Lord Venkateswara and Goddesses. Dwaraka Tirumala Devasthanam Head Priest Rambabu and temple priests performed the Kalyanotsavam, amid the chantings of Govinda by devotees. The celestial wedding concluded at 10.30 pm. Minister Pydikondala Manikyala Rao along with his family members offered prayers to the Lord Sri Venkateswara.
