National-level Kho Kho game begin
The 28th South Zone under 17 National Kho Khso Championship, along with the state-level tournament, began at MSR and BNM College grounds at J Panguluru village in Prakasam district on Friday. In all, 600 players, coaches and officials from 13 districts from the state and five other states reached the village for the tourneys.

The villagers, who are fond of the game, came forward and provided accommodation to girl players in their homes while the committee is providing boarding to the boys and male officers at the Zilla Parishad High School and on the college premises. KIMS Ongole came forward to provide medical aid to the players at the ground.
The national-level championship matches are being conducted under the flood lights in the evening while the state-level tourney is being held in the morning session in the four courts prepared especially for the tourney. Andhra Pradesh Kho Kho Association chairman Bachina Chenchu Garataiah, Organising Committee secretary Seetharami Reddy looked after the inauguration ceremony of the tournament.
