As part of the legal service day celebrations, Kakinada Mandal Legal Service Awareness Camp was conducted at Ananda Nilayam Social Welfare Hostel here on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion, Magistrate Venkateswara Rao said that even though the private educational institutions had the responsibility to offer some seats to the poor and hostel students, they were not doing so. He said that he would work to make it available through a legal effort. He described children as nation’s future.

In his address, advocate Sunil Kanth advised the students to show interest in education as well as in sports.
The organisers assured the hostel students that they would organise a medical camp in the hostel. Advocates Venkat Rao, Sridevi, BV Ramana, SK Reddy, Uma Maheswara Rao, Hymavathi, Tulasi, Aruna and others participated.
