Rajamahendravaram: Prof S Teki of Nannaya University achieved a distinction to serve as an International Union for Conserving The Nature (IUCN) desktop reviewer for Fanjingshan Natural Heritage, China. Fanjingshan is in Guizhou province of China located in the mountain slope zone.

Professor S Teki conducted a review and submitted the report recommending it to be recognised as one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites in 2018. Though it is a preliminary round of review, it is a rare distinction to Teki. Nannaya University vice-chancellor professor Murru Mutyala Naidu, prof K Ramesh and other faculty congratulated Teki for his rare distinction.
