Under the aegis of corporation health officer Dr MVR Murthi, sanitation staff has been pasting these stickers in front of all houses in the city. Meanwhile, Sairam Samakya, a group of local people, is trying to make 39 division as garbage-free division in the city.

Speaking to ‘The Hans India’, corporation health officer Dr MVR Murthi said that the corporation was determined to combat the garbage problem and is organising awareness programmes in this regard.

Separation of wet and dry garbage was a necessity. The corporation arranged cycle rickshwas to collect wet and dry garbage from houses. The exercise was going on successfully, he added. He appealed to the people to extend their co-operation in this regard.
