Thousands of devotees turn up for Mallikarjuna Swamy Kalyanam
The Endowments departmenthas conducted SrisailaBhramarambikaSametaMallikarjuna Swamy Kalyanotsavam and KarthikaLakshaDeepotsavamat ZillaParishad High School compound here on Friday. Thousands of devotees participated in the celestial programme and witnessed the Kalyanotsavam.

Endowments Minister PydikondalaManikyala Rao and Narsapur MP GokarajuGangaraju presented silk clothes to Lord MallikarjunaSwamy and silk sari to Goddess Bhramaramba respectively.Srisailam Devasthanam head priest Nagaraju Sastry and vedicpandits performed the Kalyanam of Bhramarambikaand Mallikarjuna Swamy. Later the priests performed puja to Lord Shiva.
After the prayers, LakshaKarthikaDeepotsavamwas performed andthe women devotees lit the lamps on the ground and offered prayers to Lord Shiva. The chariot of Lord Shiva brought from Srisailam mainly attracted the devotees.ReddeppaDhaveji from Narsapur acted as commentator to the programme.
On the occasion, the Minister and MP presented mementos to IlapuramVenkayya, GR Reddy, Grandhi Satyanarayana, JangaGolpal, GorintaRamaraju, Kalyanam Ramachandra Rao, KatteChinnayya for their social service.BrahmasriVaddipartiPadmakar delivered his religious discourses on the occasion.
