AP CM to participate in Vanam-Manam today
District Collector Kona Sasidhar on Friday directed the officials to make Manam-Vanam Programme, in which Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will be participating on Saturday, a grand success.
Guntur: District Collector Kona Sasidhar on Friday directed the officials to make Manam-Vanam Programme, in which Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will be participating on Saturday, a grand success.
He visited Mandadam and reviewed the arrangements for CM's visit. Over 5,000 students from various educational institutions in the district will participate in the Vanam-Manam Programme and plant the saplings under the Green Project. CM Chandrababu Naidu decided to develop more greenery in the state capital Amaravati.
As a part of this programme, he will be planting the sapling near the Speed Access Roads near Mandadam. He stressed on need to plant saplings to check pollution and for the protection of environment. He reviewed the arrangements for the CM's visit and asked them to provide drinking water for school children.
