Vijayawada: Krishna District Collector B Lakhsmikantham inaugurated the India International Travel Exhibition at Vedika Function Hall here on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said the state government was giving priority to tourism which will directly and indirectly generate employment opportunities. He patted the organisers for the exhibition.
The exhibition will be open till November 19. India International Travel Exhibition director Anurag Gupta said that the three-day travel exhibition would focus on international and domestic destinations. Promoting tourism was the reason behind holding the exhibition, he added.
