SFI demands govt degree college in Darsi
The leaders from Students Federation of India (SFI) and Democratic Youth Federation of India demanded that the state government establish the government degree college immediately at Darsi. The Samarabheri Yatra by the Prakasam district units of SFI and DYFI with demands on students’ problems reached Darsi on Friday.

Speaking to the public and students at the Gadiyara Sthambham center, the district secretary of SFI Ch Sudhakar, DYFI district vice president KV Pitchaiah and others demanded that the government establish university in the Prakasam district and a government degree college in Darsi to help the local students from going to other places for education.
They demanded that the government revise the mess bills, which were fixed in 2012, and provide scholarships and infrastructure in the hostels. They demanded that the government establish a government engineering college and junior college at the headquarters immediately.
