The students were having more technical knowledge and it was inevitable to the teachers to update their knowledge, he said.

Releasing a book on 'Upadhya vidyalo nootana avishkaranlu' on the university campus here on Friday, he said every teacher was a student and it was their duty to teach quality education to the students.

The teaching fraternity should show solutions to the problems through their research works. There was a need to change the existing education system for the benefit of the students, he added.

B Ed College principal Dr K Subba Rao said it was the duty of teaching fraternity to mould the students as responsible citizens. VC Prof Murru Mutyala Naidu congratulated the author of the book Dr G Elisha Babu. Engineering college principal Dr V Persis, director of admissions Dr Jyohirmayi and others were present.
