Teachers told to update knowledge
Nannaya University (NU) vice-chancellor Prof Murru Mutyala Naidu has advised the teaching fraternity to enhance their teaching skills to suit the changing circumstances. The students were having more technical knowledge and it was inevitable to the teachers to update their knowledge, he said.

Releasing a book on 'Upadhya vidyalo nootana avishkaranlu' on the university campus here on Friday, he said every teacher was a student and it was their duty to teach quality education to the students.
The teaching fraternity should show solutions to the problems through their research works. There was a need to change the existing education system for the benefit of the students, he added.
B Ed College principal Dr K Subba Rao said it was the duty of teaching fraternity to mould the students as responsible citizens. VC Prof Murru Mutyala Naidu congratulated the author of the book Dr G Elisha Babu. Engineering college principal Dr V Persis, director of admissions Dr Jyohirmayi and others were present.
