Amaravati: Minister for health and medical education Kamineni Srinivas said the Union government had given a green signal to another six new NEET examination centres in Andhra Pradesh. With this, the total examination centres in the state will increase to 10.

Srinivas said Union health minister J P Nadda made an announcement in this regard on Monday. The new NEET centres will be arranged in Vizianagaram, Rajamahendravaram, Kakinada, Chirala, Nellore and Kurnool. The state has already four NEET centres in Vijayawada, Visakhaptnam, Guntur and Tirupati cities. The minister thanked the Centre for sanctioning six new NEET centres to the state.
