Vijayawada: The valedictory ceremony of National Book Week celebrations was held at KCP Siddhartha Adarsh Residential Public School in Kanuru here on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr K Bhavanarayana emphasised on reading skills of students.
He advised them to read newspapers as “they are torch-bearers.” Book reading would help improve memory and concentration, he added. Competitions were held in ‘just a minute’, essay-writing and ‘Spell Bee’. Winners were given prizes. Librarian Bhaskar Rao, staff and students were present.
