AP CM Chandrababu Naidu's life goal revealed!

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday termed the prestigious irrigation project Polavaram as lifeline to the state and his life goal is to complete it on time.

He spoke over the project and its construction in AP Assembly at length. To make a steadfast in the construction works of the project, Naidu said that the government is giving attention to the project every Monday. Chanrababu said that he had so far made 20 visits to the project site and reviewed the works.

Head works and spillway works have so far attained 72 percent of completion. Total of 72 percent works related to diaphragm wall and 47.99 percent of other mud works got complete so far, he said. Radial gates too got completed on time. While so far the works to the tune of 12,567.22 got completed, the AP government had received only Rs 4,329 from the Centre, the Chief Minister pointed out in the House.

Revised estimates to the tune of Rs 58,391.06 were already sent to the Centre, Naidu told the House.
