SRR and CVR College alumni meet on November 26
Alumni of SRR and CVR Government College on Tuesday decided to organise reunion meet on November 26 in a grand fashion. College principal Velaga Joshi, Andhra Pradesh Olympic Association former treasurer K P Rao and other former students attended the meeting on Tuesday and discussed the arrangements to be made for the memorable event.
Vijayawada: Alumni of SRR and CVR Government College on Tuesday decided to organise reunion meet on November 26 in a grand fashion. College principal Velaga Joshi, Andhra Pradesh Olympic Association former treasurer K P Rao and other former students attended the meeting on Tuesday and discussed the arrangements to be made for the memorable event.
The SRR and CVR College is the only Government Degree College in Vijayawada and it was established in 1932. Former Chief Minister and actor the late NT Rama Rao was the alumnus of the college. Jnanapeet awardee Viswanatha Satyanarayana, former minister the late Chanumolu Venkata Rao, former MP Kota Punnaiah were the alumni of the college.
Speaking on the occasion, principal Velaga Joshi said a decision has been taken to develop infrastructure in the college and honour some of the alumni on the occasion. He informed that the celebrations will begin at 12 pm and will continue till evening on November 26.
