Venkaiah urged to include drought-hit areas in Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana

Bojja Dasaratha Ramireddy speaking to The Hans India here on Tuesday said they requested the Vice-president to give importance to the drought hit areas under Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY).
He said that Venkaiah has assured them that a round-table conference would be organised very soon. The round-table will discuss the issues pertaining of Rayalaseema apart from other farmer’s issues.
Bojja Dasaratha Ramireddy even extended another representation to Venkaiah in which some corrections to be made in the AP Reorganisation Act. Naidu immediately called on Vice-president Office Secretary, IV Subba Rao and instructed him to submit a detailed report after going through the representation given by Ramireddy.
