Car goes up in flames near CM camp office, Security tightened

Guntur: A XUV Mahindra vehicle went up in flames on Karakatta Road at Undavalli near AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's camp office in Tadepalli mandal on Friday.
Major loss of life was averted when the driver stopped the car and alerted the occupants when he noticed the flames. He got them out of the vehicle in the nick of the time. The vehicle reduced to ashes within minutes. The incident occurred when the car was coming from Rayapudi. The vehicle was learnt to be registered in Karnataka state.
Following the mishap, the security has been tightened all along the stretch of CM camp office. The police are securing details and trying to ascertain the cause of the fire.
